Championing Queer and Trans Inclusion Beyond the Campus Resource Center examines how various areas within student affairs and higher education can support trans and queer (TQ) students and employees beyond the scope of LGBTQ+ Resource Centers.
Chapters explore the challenges, considerations, and labor involved in advancing TQ inclusion across roles such as admissions, two-year college student services, disability justice, and more. A diverse team of contributors blends research, firsthand accounts, and actionable strategies to help readers develop equity-centered policies, programs, and projects.
A love letter by and for TQ people, this book is an essential resource for anyone committed to creating sustainable interventions that ensure campuses truly welcome and celebrate TQ lives.
