To unite the rebel forces, Zeren must do the impossible: steal Deonar’s spellbook and free Ferman from the magic that binds him. She must also save her mentor’s life before she faces her enemy. But as she steps into the heart of danger, enemy spies close in, loyalties splinter, and the fragile hope she carries begins to crumble.
Far from her side, Hena and Aethan are thrust into a deadly trial of their own—one that reveals deeper wounds in the land and may claim their lives before they can return to the war brewing in the shadows.
As Deonar’s chains tighten around throne and heart alike, Zeren must confront the truth of her bloodline, the secrets buried within the spellbook, and the rising power awakening inside her.
A power that could free her people . . .
Or shatter her very soul.
