Alfredo Alvar Ezquerra (Granada, 1960) es especialista en una etapa crucial de nuestra historia, los Siglos de Oro. Ha publicado decenas de artículos y libros sobre los personajes más notables y las gentes más menudas de los siglos xvi al xviii, desde Isabel I la Católica a la emperatriz Isabel, de López de Hoyos a Cervantes, de Juan Sebastián Elcano al duque de Lerma. Sus estudios han profundizado, manejando teorías sociológicas, en los comportamientos colectivos, sin dejar de lado sus investigaciones sobre la historia de la educación y del Humanismo.
Desarrolla su trabajo como profesor de Investigación en el Instituto de Historia del CSIC. En la actualidad es académico correspondiente de la Real Academia de la Historia, de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Telmo (Málaga) y de la Real Academia de la Mar. Ha recibido la Encomienda de Isabel la Católica y el Premio de Historia de la Real Asociación de Hidalgos de España. Gran divulgador científico de la Historia Moderna, ha sido asesor para El mundo de Carlos de RTVE y cocomisario de exposiciones de los documentos de Cervantes, tanto en formato digital (para Google) como los originales (nombrado por el Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte). Ha participado en proyectos de I+D+i, ha pronunciado conferencias y ha participado en congresos científicos desde las Indias al norte de África, y por toda Europa.
Siente predilección por La Esfera, donde ha publicado El duque de Lerma (2010), La emperatriz (2012), Un maestro en tiempos de Felipe II (2014), Felipe IV. El Grande (2018) y Austrias (2023).?

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
