"This 10.5 x 13.75 inch, 151 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the first printing of this title in 1968. The book itself is in near fine condition with only a bit of wear at the corners and spine bottom but overall the green-cloth cover with gold lettering on front and spine is in near fine condition. The interior text pages are also near fine with a previous owner's gift inscription on a free end paper, but beyond that there are no condition issues to mention. This is the eighteenth title in the Sierra Club's Exhibit Format series which was trend-setting during the decades of the 1960's and really established the "coffee table book" format, a large size volume with extensive photographs. The series by the Sierra Club contains a number of noteworthy titles, with several featuring Ansel Adams photography, and again several with other emminent photographers and notations by David Brower, one of the most prominent "environmentalists" of that time. This title features a fabulous portrayal of New York's Central Park at this point in time. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with smudging to the white parts of the wrapper and some chipping to the edges and wear at the folds. There is a one-by-two inch piece of the wrapper missing at the spine crown. The wrapper is now protected by a mylar cover. 151 pages.". Seller Inventory # 1505-641
