2 volumes in an oatmeal cloth, circular black ink title stamp, edges faded & rubbed. Spines, black ink titles, edges bumped. Internally Part 1, 1907, half title, large folding map frontis, [5], (vi-xxviii), [1], 2-326 pp, [1] errata, complete with 6 maps (all folding, 5 coloured). Part 2, 1911, half title, large folding map frontis, [5], (vi-xviii), [2], [1], 2-432 pp, complete with 10 maps (all folding, 9 coloured), with an additional folding coloured map of Switzerland (H Nummerly 1:600000), tipped to epd. Both frontispieces strengthened, very occasional spot to Part 2, black endpapers. (183*123 mm). (Neate 50. Alpine Club LibCat p20).
