Synopsis:
Tree Ogham was a system of coded communication and a method of divination. The Ogham alphabet consisted of 25 letters, each representing a type of tree. This book is a version of the Ogham "oracle", it explains how to read and interprete the cards.
About the Author: Colin Murray (deceased) founded the Golden Section Order in the mid 1970s a society dedicated to the preservation of Celtic lore. The Order, and its hand-illuminated magazine, the New Celtic Review, soon gained international renown. Following a serious car accident, Colin became inspired to research ancient Celtic tree wisdom, and this led him to devise the Ogham cards. His wife Liz continued his work after his death, bringing his Ogham divination system to fruition in THE CELTIC TREE ORACLE

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. In a dark green laminated hardcover with white titles to spine and dark green titles and a colour illustration to front. No dust jacket but contained with in a timber box with a label pasted to the front with titles and colour illustration. Box also contains an interpretation notebook, 25 cards and a record sheet. The book is in near fine condition with just a trace of shelf-wear to the extremities of the cover. The pages are clean and unmarked. The cards are clean and unmarked. The first page of the notebook has some entries in pencil and the record sheet has some numbers in pencil. One corner of the label to the box is lifting and has slight wear to extremities.
