"This beautiful story is one that will not only help so many children but many adults too! The message in here is beautiful and clear: You are always enough! I’ll definitely be sharing this with my clients and schools! I truly hope that every child has the opportunity to read this story. Thank you Jen, for sharing your magic with the world." ~ Natalie Costa, Founder of Power Thoughts
”The most important thing every child needs is love. This book's profound message of unconditional love shows a child that no matter what they do and how they act, they will be always loved. This book is a must-have for all little boys and girls!” ~ Alexandra Eidens, Founder of Big Life Journal
When little bear makes mistakes or doesn’t think that he is as good as another, he wants to know that he is loved for who he is. It’s what we all want to know.
This beautifully captivating story takes you and your child on a journey where Mother bear teaches little bear that he’s loved and lovable no matter what.
“You are lovable my dear, more than you know. You are amazing, wonderful and kind. You are loved right now from your head to your toes
JUST AS YOU ARE."
Every child and adult needs to hear this message of unconditional love and to remember that their self-worth is innate and isn’t something that ever disappears during their life. Adults and children alike will be able to feel a real sense of self-esteem and affirmation through reading the repetition of such loving and truth-filled words.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jen Harrison is an advocate for children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing and is a consultant working with parents to build their child’s self-esteem.
It is clear to Jen that self-esteem begins at home and in the early years, and that the message of unconditional love is essential in order for children to know their self worth and be happy.
One thing that Jen knows to be true is that we cannot teach growth mindset or build a child’s self-confidence without first laying the firm foundation within a child that they are lovable no matter what. It is only when a child knows who they really are and what their self-worth is, that they can flourish in their learning and growth. Unconditional love REALLY is the number one thing that we all need before anything else. Children then feel free to make mistakes as they learn and grow and no longer try to strive for perfection in the hopes that they will earn their self-worth. They come to learn through messages like those in this story, that they already have self-worth deep inside of them and it was there all along.
Having said that, Jen also understands that it’s never too late to learn about the truth of who you really are and invites both adults and children alike to enjoy and embrace this heart-filled message.
