In 2026, the Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School celebrated its centennial anniversary. Located on the Purdue University campus, the Lab School provides a site for undergraduate teacher training and observation, faculty and graduate student research, and acts as an incubator for best practices in early childhood education. It not only provides high-quality early childhood education programs, but it also serves as a model of appropriate childcare instruction for individuals in the community, the region, and beyond. Replete with descriptive text, testimonials, and more than 100 color photographs from throughout the school's history, this book chronicles the key contributions of the Lab School and looks ahead to the next century of advancement.
