Paperback. Cedars in Crowley is an inspirational coming-of-age story about Angela, a young girl growing up in a close-knit family in a small Southern town. Through everyday experiences with her parents, siblings, friends, school, and the natural world around her, Angela slowly begins to understand what truly matters in life.At the heart of her childhood is Carly, her beloved brother whose innocence, determination, and unique way of seeing the world challenge Angela to look beyond appearances. Along the way, she witnesses her father's quiet acts of compassion, learns about sacrifice and forgiveness, and discovers how faith can provide strength during life's most difficult moments.Set among family traditions, friendships, Catholic faith, and the enduring beauty of the cedars, Cedars in Crowley is a heartfelt story about growing up, learning to love others, and finding holiness in the ordinary moments of life.
