About this Item

First paperback edition, featuring great period cover art by Robert Schulz. Signet Books number "S1240" an 35 cent price on front cover. "First Printing, October, 1955" on copyright page. This book is in very good condition, marred only by shallow reading creases in spine and front hinge, plus traces of edge wear. Binding is tight and square, and the covers still have good "snap" so the book was gently read. Covers are sharp cornered, bright (neither faded nor toned), unmarked, and otherwise unworn. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with a trace of sun fade to the publisher's red edge stain on top, and very slight normal age toning visible in the margins. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description.
