First UK Edition Thus. A very nice example in dustwrapper of the scarce first printing of the first edition in Herbert Jenkins. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles to front and spine. 310 pages plus ten page publisher's adverts to rear. A VG copy in very attractive condition with just a little fading to the spine with the binding sound and square. Internally clean, bright and free of inscriptions. In the VERY SCARCE first issue dustwrapper priced 7/6 to the spine (as called for by the English Catalogue of Books for 1929). The dustwrapper is in VG+ condition minisculy rubbed to the spine tips and with several short closed tears and associated creases. A very nice copy indeed. Great period dustwrapper artwork.
