nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A journey through stone and story that invites the eyes as well as the imagination. The Cathedrals Of Northern Spain opens a doorway to quiet towns and grand façades, where every arch and tower speaks of faith, craft, and centuries of change.Charles Rudy's travelogue guidebook offers a clear, absorbing chronicle of northern Spain's cathedral architecture-an accessible historic travel writing that threads together gothic and romanesque landmarks with the everyday rhythms of Spanish medieval cities. It is at once a practical field companion for cathedral architecture tours and a lyrical cultural survey for travel readers, capturing the reverberations of religious architecture heritage across northern spain locales. This book holds literary and historical significance as a window onto a living architectural heritage, presenting a humane, discerning voice that respects the past while inviting modern readers to walk its stones. The writing balances precise description with a reverent mood, appealing to both casual readers and classic-literature collectors who treasure well-made, durable articulations of place.Selling points: Out of print for decades and now republished by Alpha Editions; restored for today's and future generations; more than a reprint - a collector's item and a cultural treasure for those who seek the confluence of travel, history, and sacred architecture. A refined companion for enthusiasts and travellers alike, especially those drawn to northern spain locales and medieval pilgrimage guides. …
