Kindness is infectious:
Kindness is infectious, your job when you catch kindness is to spread it. Kindness is everywhere if you look for it, and are open to the people around you. Sometimes you give kindness and sometimes you receive kindness, like help from a stranger when you didn't even know you needed help. This beautiful children's book is a simple story with a simple message... love wins, one random act of kindness at a time.

For Teachers/Parents:
Using this book begins the conversation;

• what is kindness?
• what does it look like?
• what does it feel like?
• How you can "catch" it?
• How can you "infect" others with it?
• How can you be a kindness ally?
• How can you plan to seek out kindness in everyday life?

Simple yet effective:
Incorporating simple hand-drawn illustrations and basic text, the message of how to be a kind person is clear. For most parents or educators, kindness is taught in everyday life. We speak of compassion, empathy, self-regulation and self-advocacy, and treating others how you would like to be treated. This engaging and effective story challenges readers to learn about kindness and gives beautiful examples through illustrations, and also how to take on a kindness mission themselves.

Kindness breeds confidence:
A kind and empathetic person is confident in their own person and their own actions. Parents and educators alike will stress their desire for children to be raised in a safe and inclusive environment, and to show kindness despite of the difficulty of a particular situation. Starting the conversation and explicit teaching what kindness looks and feels like, is the best start that any young person could have. This book is a charming way to start the dialogue, and once kindness is innate the opportunities for self-growth and self-affirmations are endless!
