Paperback. In a sunny backyard bursting with flowers and laughter, lived Otto the labradoodle, a big fluffy dog with wagging tails and boundless energy. But today, Otto was feeling a little gloomy. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't catch the bright, bouncy ball. Meanwhile, perched on a warm rock, was Rex, Otto's friend a wise bearded dragon. With his scales glistening in the sunshine, Rex could see that Otto was upset. "What's wrong, Otto?" he asked, tilting his head curiously."I just can't catch the ball, Rex," Otto replied sadly. With a twinkle in his eye, Rex smiled he knew learning something new takes time! Just because you can't catch it YET, doesn't mean you won't be able to someday.Rex reminded Otto of the time he struggled to climb to the top of his favourite rock. "At first, I couldn't do it, but with practice, I made it up there!" Together, the two friends came up with a fun plan. Rex showed Otto how to break down the skill: first catching the ball when it bounces slowly, then trying it when it's thrown a little faster. As days went by, Otto, with Rex cheering him on, started to see improvements. Each practice brought new excitement, and soon enough, something magical happened Otto caught the ball! The feeling of joy and triumph bubbled up as he wagged his tail in delight. In otto Can't Catch young readers learn the importance of friendship, patience, and never giving up. Join Otto and Rex on their delightful journey, proving that with a little help, practice, and a positive attitude, anything is possible! This item is printed on demand.
