Paperback. When her lover is abducted, a psychiatrist is plunged back into the hunt for a group of killers-one of whom may be her former mentor. Relegated to civilian life following her work with the FBI, Kirsten Leone is pursuing a new romantic relationship with Agent Ken Wiley and eagerly awaiting news that her former mentor, Malcolm Johns, has been apprehended for his role in a string of brutal killings. However, when Ken is abducted while following a lead, Kirsten resumes her investigation despite the objections of the new agent in charge. She travels South to revisit the places where everything began, and old friends point her toward startling revelations about the Tobias family and the origins of her former mentor. Now Kirsten must question everything about Malcolm-and her feelings for him. This item is printed on demand.
