Consumers who reside within states subject to the jurisdiction of the European Commission – excluding the United Kingdom as of 2020 – reserve the right to withdraw from the sale of any given item(s) for any reason(s) whatsoever.
The period to exercise this right lasts 14 days from the receipt of the ordered item(s). Those who wish to withdraw from a sale must communicate their desire to the trader within this 14-day period through the submission of the following Model Withdrawal Form or some other clear expression to the same effect.
Although Wilsons Book World prefers email, alternative means of communication – including through the post and telephone – are permissible. Upon receipt of such communication, Wilsons will send a follow-up confirmation without undue delay.
If the consumer withdraws from a sale, we will reimburse him/her all payments received, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if he/she chooses a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery we offer).
Reimbursements will be made upon the complete return of all item(s) indicated in the Withdrawal Form/legitimate alternative means of communication.
Wilsons reserves the right to deduct from the reimbursement any loss in value of returned items if such loss in value is a consequence of unnecessary handling on the part of the consumer.
Reimbursements will be made via the identical payment method used for the initial purchase, unless the consumer expressly requests otherwise. Reimbursements will not be made via check or paper money. There are no associated fees for the issuance of the reimbursement per se.
It is incumbent upon the consumer to ensure the return of the item(s) identified in the withdrawal statement to Wilsons Book World, F.A.B.A., 535 16th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33705, U.S.A, +1 727-896-3700.
The item(s) must be sent back within the stipulated 14 day period, which begins: a.) in the case of a single order containing one or several items shipped and received together, the day the consumer comes into the physical possession of the goods and b.) in the case of a single order containing several items shipped and received separately, the day after the consumer comes into the physical possession of the final item of the order/lot.
