A new decade, a dangerous new world, and a high-stakes case that changes everything.
From Wall Street Journal and Amazon bestselling author Donna Foley Mabry comes the sensational fourth installment in The Case Files of Molly Evers series—taking post-war noir into the bold, fast-paced world of the 1950s.
The calendar has turned to 1950, and the world is changing at breakneck speed. Detroit private investigator Molly Evers has faced mob bosses, corrupt politicians, and ruthless killers, but entering a new decade brings a fresh wave of sophisticated crime, cold war paranoia, and complex personal choices.
When a high-profile case involving a shadowy syndicate and dangerous political secrets threatens to tear her inner circle apart, Molly and her trusted partner Jake Kent must put everything on the line. Navigating high-stakes betrayals, glamorous 1950s social circles, and deadly urban back alleys, Molly relies on her trademark sharp wit, combat-honed instincts, and unyielding heart to deliver justice.
