Seventh edition. 84 engraved plates. vii, [i], 92, 8 (publisher's "Catalogue of Modern Books on Architecture") pp. 4to. An attractive copy of the expanded seventh edition of this popular builder's manual, first published as The New Carpenter's Guide in 1792. This edition includes six new plates, and all the plates - which present plans for roofs, stairs, railings, niches, soffits, etc. - have been re-engraved. Not in RIBA Contemporary tree calf. Front joint and head of rear joint cracked, some loss to lower portion of spine and top outer corner of rear cover, occasional light foxing to plates, else internally a fine. Book ticket of Deighton, Worcester 84 engraved plates. vii, [i], 92, 8 (publisher's "Catalogue of Modern Books on Architecture") pp. 4to.
