Large central portrait of Scott in full dress naval uniform, with decorations surrounded by oak & holly leaves. Smaller vignette views of 4 men eating in their tent, 3 men sleeping, sledging with ponies, and the "Terra Nova" in front of an iceberg. This image was sometimes used for commercial advertising calendars for 1914. Most beautifully executed, probably the most handsome Scott commemorative print we have seen. Chromolithograph, 17 1/2 x 24", trimmed to edge of printed surface. With an older mount surrounding it, the margins adhered to the mount. The print surface is in excellent condition.
