Red boards rubbed and discol. with a small dark black blot and patches of bleaching esp. to middle of lower board. Faded rubber stamp to upper board and rubber stamp to ffep and to title page. Bit of foxing to reverse of fold-out colour map which is attached to Contents page although both map and contents page are detached. [l] + 458pp + [xix] ads. Gilt titling to upper board is clear but gilt to spine faded. Crack at front joint and binding is loose but holding. Pages 295-298 proud of textblock at bottom edge and accordingly creased. What appears to be red speckling to textblock edges. Last page browned. Contents largely undiscoloured and unmarked but a tad age-toned. Overall delicate but holding up. Good minus. Scarce.
