Clean, tight, unmarked; absolute minimal wear; appears unread; To celebrate the joys of a quality brew, David Ort has generously provided this book of 75 recipes that will convince you that "beer belongs on the plate as well as in the glass." More than pub fare and beer classics, this book runs the gamut of beer cookery from Witbier Onion Rings and Braised Smoky Ribs to Wild Beer Vinegar and Oatmeal Stout Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream. along the way, it stops off for beer cocktails, pairs beer with the right cheeses, makes a mean Chicken Liver Paté and dispenses some sage advice on cooking with alcohol and drinking beer. Equally exciting for the craft beer novice and the brewpub-hardened beer aficionado, this book includes a guide to different styles of beer, profiles of important players in the craft beer scene across the country and a further reading section for those who want to study up.
