Print on Demand. This book examines military strategies throughout the Mexican War, with particular attention to the roles of Generals Taylor and Scott. The author argues that political considerations, particularly Mexico's overtures for peace, strongly influenced the conduct of the war and the decisions of its military leaders. The book offers an insightful analysis of the interplay between military strategy and the complexities of international diplomacy, providing a nuanced understanding of a pivotal conflict in American history. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
