About the Author
Alison Lockyer (BSc (Hons), PGCE) has been working as a lecturer in health and social care and science at Craven College since 2015. Before that she worked in the social care sector. She has managed a residential care home and home care services and also set up her own home care agency.
Niki Wilson (BA (Hons)) has worked in education for over 19 years, teaching level 2 and level 3 health and social care and child development, alongside subject lead responsibility. She has a great understanding of the needs of her students which comes across in her writing.
Jennifer Willis (MSET, ATS, CTeach) is a Health and Social Care Lecturer and Advanced Quality Practitioner at Heart of Worcestershire College. Jenny has taught in adult and further education for 19 years, and is currently undertaking an MA in Education for a Sustainable Environment.
Vicki Johnston (BSc (Hons), PGCE) is an experienced teacher of Biology, and Health and Social Care at Level 2 and Level 3. She has taught in schools and FE colleges since 2002. Additionally, Vicki is an accomplished senior examiner.
