Item description from seller

Parents' Magazine Press, copyright 1966. Hardcover with dust jacket. Overall condition of book very good. Dust jacket just good or fair. Book measures 7-1/4 inches wide x 9-1/4 inches tall, 96 numbered pages. Color dust jacket; interior illustrations (mainly at chapter heads) are b/w drawings. No marks or stains in book. Firm binding, but stitches show inside front cover. Dust jacket has some edge wear and small tears, mainly along top edge. It also appears someone might have placed a cold drink on the book, for the jacket is slightly dimpled, perhaps from damp. But not stained. Topics include tips for hostesses (and Moms, if different), how to handle boys and wallflowers, recipes for punch, desserts, and other treats, outdoor parties (games), pajama parties, etc. More info and photo on request.

Store description

I started selling books online around 1997-8, first on Bibliofind and then on Amazon. In my youth, I worked for a college textbook store and later at a university library. So I'm no stranger to scholarly books. Although semi-retired now, I still collect books and currently list for sale items no longer wanted in my personal library. Thus I do not have a large inventory as I am working from home. Still, I have an eclectic collection as befits a former librarian. My stock includes textbooks and scholarly books, with an emphasis on history, philosophy, and religion. My approval rating when I was with Amazon was 99% (2 were neutral). I'll try to accommodate any reasonable request.…
