Whether you're a new preacher looking to better understand your call, a veteran preacher looking for fresh ideas to hone your craft, or somewhere in between, The Call to Preach provides support, encouragement, and practical tools for your journey. Dr. Steve Estep draws on twenty-five years of preaching experience to provide wisdom, advice, and best practices for sermon preparation. In these pages you'll find tools for engaging the biblical text, sample sermons from great thinkers and preachers, and a wealth of encouragement for the demanding, rewarding work of proclaiming the Word of God.
