Cloth. Illustrations. 450 copies printed by Lawton and Alfred Kennedy. Page sides are uncut. In the Introduction, Ferol Egan describes publications which were available in Germany that encouraged or discouraged Germans about immigrating to the Unite d States in search of gold. One particular publication by J. Muller has been translated from the German and is reprinted in this book and describes the horrible things that will happen to immigrants coming to America.
