Although the California Fireworks Co. was established in San Francisco in 1860, catalogues from the company are scarce (we locate just one in OCLC). This 1931 catalogue offers toy pistols, Chinese firecrackers, flashlight firecrackers, sparklers, Roman candles, colored sky rockets, torpedoes, cannon crackers, colored torches, and a range of "fireworks novelties," including a paper house on fire, tissue paper hot air balloons, "jumping jacks," "liberty fountains," "bombshells," and much more. Also offered are exhibition devices and set pieces (American flag, bust of Washington, Calliope Wheel, American Legion Emblem, etc.) and various assortments of fireworks for retail stores. For books weighing under two pounds (most books), standard shipping by media mail is $3.75 for the first book and $2.75 for each additional book in the same shipment. Priority mail shipping is $5.95 for the first book and $3.75 for each additional book.
