Paperback. Caleb Learns Flexible Thinking is a gentle, faith-based children's picture book that helps young readers navigate change, manage big feelings, and practice flexible thinking when plans shift unexpectedly.Caleb is an eight-year-old boy who loves routines, spending time at the park, and being with his mom and younger sister, Love. When small disruptions challenge his carefully planned day, Caleb begins to feel overwhelmed. With patient guidance from his mother and encouragement rooted in Scripture, he learns that while planning is important, staying flexible and trusting God brings peace and confidence when circumstances change.Through relatable family moments, practical coping strategies, and the reassuring message of Proverbs 16:9, this story models emotional regulation, problem-solving, and faith-centered resilience. Caleb discovers that he can make a plan with purpose and trust that God is still working all things out for good.Especially supportive for autistic children and those who struggle with rigid thinking or transitions, this story remains accessible and encouraging for all families seeking to nurture emotional growth and flexible thinking in their children. Caleb learns to handle change with courage and faith. This gentle story helps children practice flexible thinking, manage big feelings, and trust God when plans shift unexpectedly.
