nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Caesar or Nothing is a novel written by Pio Baroja, a Spanish author and philosopher. The book tells the story of a young man named Julius, who is obsessed with the idea of becoming a great leader like Julius Caesar. He is determined to achieve greatness at any cost and is willing to do whatever it takes to become powerful, even if it means betraying his friends and loved ones. Julius begins his journey by joining a political group that advocates for a strong and authoritarian government. He quickly rises through the ranks and becomes a leader within the organization. However, as he gains more power and influence, he becomes increasingly ruthless and corrupt. As the story unfolds, Julius becomes embroiled in a web of deceit and betrayal, and his obsession with power threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. He must decide whether to continue down the path of destruction or to abandon his quest for power and embrace a more humble and virtuous life. Caesar or Nothing is a thought-provoking novel that explores the dangers of ambition and the corrupting influence of power. Baroja's writing is engaging and insightful, and the book is a must-read for anyone interested in politics, philosophy, or human nature. His negation had no reference,--far from it,--to women, to love, or to friends, things where the pedantic and ostentatious scepticism of literary men of the Larra type usually finds its fodder; his nihilism was much more the confusion and discomposure of one that explores a region well or badly, and finds no landmarks there, no paths, and returns with a belief that even the compass is not exact in what it shows. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.…
