Minor edge and corner wear; lightly scuffed and scratched; spine is gently creased; some light shelf wear; overall a very crisp and clean inscribed, "Enjoy the Bloomin' book. Ray Paul.", first edition! Inscribed by the author on the title page! 291 very clean unmarked and uncreased historical pages! "I first met the character 'George' through outreach workshops in fiction that I teach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and fell in love with him immediately. Author R L Paul has crafted a character on a journey of renewal in the poignant and amusing tradition of characters created by established writers such as Jan Karon and Clyde Edgerton." ----- Christine DeSmet.
