The 18 June 2026 release of declassified COVID-19 documents by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, reproduced complete and unaltered, with a full editorial apparatus. Required under the FY2026 National Defense Authorization Act's 180-day review provision, the release gathers 66 documents bearing on the origins of SARS-CoV-2: a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory technical assessment of lab-modification conditions at the Wuhan Institute of Virology; foundational scientific papers, among them The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2, a synthetic recombinant bat-coronavirus study, and the NIH Director's natural-origin commentary; roughly fifty internal intelligence-community and agency emails from 2020 through 2026 documenting how officials coordinated analysis, briefed Congress, managed whistleblower questions, and handled the press on COVID origins; congressional materials and an ICWPA whistleblower complaint; State Department cables on the Wuhan BSL-4 laboratory; and a 2015 CIA assessment.

A single consolidated Caveats & Counterpoints section gathers in one place, fairly and with attribution, every substantive objection to the release: questions of provenance and timing; selection bias, since 66 documents are a fraction of the full record; the limits imposed by redaction; the crucial distinction between a document that records deliberation and a document that states a finding; the scientific counterweight, since key papers in the release argue for natural origin and the scientific community remains divided; the intelligence community's own differing, low-to-moderate-confidence judgments and the absence of any consensus lab-leak finding; and the contested, unadjudicated status of the whistleblower and false-testimony allegations.
The edition takes no position on the origins of COVID-19. Its purpose is access, navigation, and intellectual honesty: to place the complete primary-source record before researchers, journalists, librarians, policymakers, and citizens in a form they can actually use, cross-reference, and weigh for themselves. The reproduced government documents are public-domain works of the United States; the editorial apparatus was prepared with AI assistance under human editorial direction.
For the librarian and the archivist, it is a single, citable, shelf-ready volume that captures an entire government release with its provenance intact. Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to PBShop.store US, Springfield Gardens, New York, U.S.A., +44 1285 712917, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
