This work traces the history of mankind's quest to take to the sky. The book recounts in detail the significant moments in the history of flight--from the efforts of the Wright brothers, the first flying-aces, to the development of the stealth bomber. It also focuses on the men and women whose efforts made the miracle of flight possible. The book contains photographs, illustrations, bibliography, and an index. This copy is clean and solid.
