12 volumes. 10 x 7, custom highly gilt-decorated (in floral motif) red morocco, with green gilt decorated leather inserts inside front covers, with silk endpapers, teg, vp, covers a bit rubbed, spines lightly sunned, one volume with tiny chip from top of spine, one rear cover sunned on top half, a few inner hinges starting, minor toning to prelims and text block foredge else a spectacularly bound set. LIMITED TO 125 NUMBERED SETS, the set number 26, "Printed for Robert Mitchell Allen." MANUSCRIPT EDITION, WITH ONE PAGE OF YELLOW PAPER WITH MANUSCRIPT FROM HIS SHORT STORY "LAW AND ORDER:" ". . . 'Bud', says Lake to me, 'I want you to fix up a little and go up to San Antone with me. . . .' " Manuscript page browned with some holes at top; page to which it is attached is browned from manuscript page. "Law and Order" was published in the book SIXES AND SEVENS (1911).
