Condition Report Externally Spine fair condition gilt titles, embossed decoration, worn top and tail with some small tears and loss at the top, sun faded. Joints good condition rubbed and worn. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn, a couple of the corners are turning in. Boards good condition decorative embossed green cloth boards, the top and bottom edge of the upper board has been bumped, some white marks on the rear board, slightly cocked. Page edges good condition top edge darkened, all tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges fair condition both hinges are broken but the webbing is holding. Paste downs good condition both paste downs have a page of advertisements to them, lightly tanned with some foxing. End papers good condition both end papers are missing. Title good condition b/w illustration to the centre, lightly tanned with some foxing. Pages good condition personal inscription on the reverse of the half title page, tissue guarded frontispiece Izaak Walton , numerous illustrations throughout, some pages are narrower than others, lightly tanned and foxed throughout.
