Item description from seller

Second issue, with corrections, after the first of the previous year. A useful assemblage of Georgia laws. The compiler, Augustin Smith Clayton, served as a state senator, member of the state Superior Court, and as a United States Congressman from 1831 to 1835. Includes Jefferson's proclamation of Jan. 11, 1803 ratifying the treaty with the Creek Indians. A nice Georgia item. DE RENNE I, p.346. Quarto. Contemporary calf, red gilt morocco label. Covers bowed, rubbed, and scuffed; crude buckram repairs at head of spine. Minor worming. Moderate to heavy toning, foxing, and dampstaining. Good. Lacks errata.
