MASTER CLINICAL NEUROANATOMY—FROM THE FIRST NEURON TO THE FINAL DIAGNOSIS.
Do you find neuroanatomy overwhelming, packed with disconnected facts and impossible pathways? You're not alone. Most students struggle because they memorize structures without understanding how they connect to real patients.
Clinical Neuroanatomy Unlocked: Expanded Comprehensive Edition transforms one of medicine's most challenging subjects into a practical, visual, and clinically relevant learning experience. Designed as a case-based guide for healthcare students and professionals, this book bridges the gap between classroom anatomy and bedside medicine. It combines core neuroanatomy, pathology, neurophysiology, imaging, and clinical localization into one easy-to-follow resource.
Whether you're preparing for the USMLE, PLAB, AMC, MRCP, nursing exams, physiotherapy assessments, or simply aiming to become a more confident clinician, this book helps you think like a neurologist.
INSIDE YOU'LL DISCOVER:
Comprehensive coverage of the entire nervous system—from basic neuronal function to advanced stroke syndromes.
A practical, case-based approach that teaches lesion localization and clinical reasoning.
High-yield tables, mnemonics, memory anchors, and board-style explanations.
Step-by-step guides to understanding spinal cord tracts, cranial nerves, brainstem syndromes, and cortical functions.
Clear explanations of neuroimaging, including CT and MRI interpretation.
Clinical correlations that connect anatomy to real-world patient presentations.
Exam-focused summaries designed to maximize retention and rapid review.
FEATURES INCLUDE:
• 25 comprehensive chapters covering the full spectrum of clinical neuroanatomy.
• Foundations of neuroscience, embryology, neurohistology, and neurophysiology.
• Detailed coverage of the spinal cord, peripheral nervous system, and autonomic pathways.
• Brainstem and cerebellar anatomy with classic neurological syndromes.
• Complete review of all cranial nerves.
• Basal ganglia, movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease.
• Higher cortical functions, language, memory, and the limbic system.
• Vascular neuroanatomy, stroke localization, meninges, CSF, and neuroimaging.
PERFECT FOR:
• Medical Students
• Nursing Students
• Physician Assistant Students
• Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Students
• Residents and Junior Doctors
• Neurology and Neurosurgery Trainees
• Anyone seeking a practical understanding of clinical neuroscience.
Unlike traditional neuroanatomy textbooks that overwhelm readers with isolated facts, Clinical Neuroanatomy Unlocked teaches you how to connect symptoms, anatomy, imaging, and diagnosis—exactly the way experienced clinicians think.
