Item description from seller

164p. A hardcover book bound in vellum with calligraphic lettering on the boards and spine. Good condition overall. The corners of the boards are bent and the tips of the spine are worn, most heavily at the head. Boards and endpapers soiled. Bookplate inside front cover; pencil scribbles and a stamp on first two blank pages. Otherwise, text is unmarked. The binding is shaken, with the thread visible in the gutter of some signatures, but all pages remain attached. A strongly worded attack upon the Catholic doctrine of the Real Presence by a French Protestant minister, originally published in the 17th century.
