Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a character lacking in ephemeral electronic renderings.; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 114 pages; Culs-de-lampe de Bourget graves par Lefman. A lovely book with charming engraved illustrations. Contents clean and tight in original tan cloth binding with decorative stamping in gilt and lettering in black on front cover. Some very minor flaking at front edge of a few leaves. No date printed in book, but paper, illustrations and binding style suggest 1880s. A small superficial spot to cloth at bottom edge of front board. Text in French. A delightful collection of songs and rounds for children with music and illustrated with four wonderful full-page chromolithographs and dozens of black and white illustrations after engravings.
