Originally published as a serial in McClure's msgazine between 1896-1897, this 1937 reprint was issued in conjunction with the 1937 Metro Goldwyn film version starring Freddie Bartholomew, Spencer Tracy, Lionel Barrymore, Melvyn Douglas, Mickey Rooney. and John Carradine. There is a still from the movie of Bartholomew as Harvey chayne Jr. as frontis.and other scenes from the movie on the front and rear endpapers. Thiis is Kipling's only novel set entirely in North America and extolled by Teddy Roosevelt as "just what a boy should be and do," Book has one corner lightly bumped, else in near fine ondition; dust jacket price clipped, light wear at edges. 070400A.
