Publishers' green cloth with black ruling and gilt title and running antelope vignette to the upper cover. Light rubbing to the head and tail of spine and corners VG. "Lucas was a member of the Cape Mounted Rifles during one of the series of so-called Kaffir Wars that erupted in South Africa.
