Cambio de rumbo nos ofrece la visión que tienen algunos de los mejores expertos mundiales sobre estos temas y nos hace ver la necesidad de un cambio de mentalidad si queremos tomar las decisiones correctas. El neoliberalismo desatado, que socava la democracia y crea desigualdad económica y desigualdad política, se ha hecho insostenible, como muestran Stiglitz, Zucman, Acemoglu, Robinson, Johnson, Zuboff, Cortina, Harari, Marina, Suleyman, Gabriel y otros muchos expertos. “No hay más alternativa que un cambio radical”, dice Stiglitz. Interesa que ese cambio se haga en la buena dirección.
Biografía
Finalizada hace tiempo su actividad docente, Julio Puente ha escrito varias obras en estos años de crisis. En Un paso adelante. Cien años con Ebner. Cristianismo, cultura y deseo (ACCI, 2017; 2ª Edición 2019), se pregunta si la herencia judeocristiana está en decadencia en Occidente. Pocos meses más tarde apareció su libro Cataluña. Entre la sensatez y el delirio (Liber Factory, 2018), en el que denuncia las injustas políticas del nacionalismo. En Ideas para vivir. Intentando comprender los desafíos de nuestro tiempo (Liber Factory, 2022) ofrece las conclusiones de relevantes obras sobre los problemas que enfrenta la humanidad en el s. XXI. La obra Cambio de rumbo (2025) actualiza esa reflexión sobre los desafíos globales y profundiza en la actitud para afrontarlos. El mundo está cambiando, no siempre para mejor, y “la tecnología no es la clave de lo que está por venir o lo que realmente está en juego. Somos nosotros”. (M. Suleyman, La ola que viene).
Julio Puente se doctoró estudiando la obra de Ferdinand Ebner. Cree que la ética, la responsabilidad moral, debe guiar tanto las conciencias como las relaciones económicas, políticas y sociales. Coincide en esto con Joseph E. Stiglitz, Markus Gabriel, José Antonio Marina, Adela Cortina, Shoshana Zuboff, Pankaj Mishra, Daron Acemoglu, Simon Johnson, Paul Collier, Anthony M. Annett, y con tantos otros autores cuyas recientes obras comenta en Cambio de rumbo.
Este libro de Julio Puente bien podría titularse “diálogos desde la diáspora”. El autor siembra palabras de solidaridad dialogando como lector-oyente con voces cercanas y lejanas. Describe el cambio de rumbo para hacer frente a los desafíos globales como “metanoia”, como “cambio de mente” y de vida. En tiempos de aguas turbulentas esta apuesta por la solidaridad es, sin duda, el barco más seguro para llegar a buen puerto” (Xabier Pikaza, experto en Biblia e historia de las religiones, ha sido profesor de la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (1973-2003)).

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to KALAMO BOOKS, Mitja Galta, 34 B, 12530, Burriana, Castellón, Spain, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.

Los envíos gratuitos se tramitan por Correo postal. Son envíos sin código de seguimiento. El cartero dejará un aviso de recogida en el buzón. Este tipo de envíos "PostLibris" no tienen entrega a domicilio, la entrega es en su oficina de Correos más cercana. El plazo estimado de entrega es orientativo y no vinculante ya que depende de la gestión de cada oficina de Correos en concreto.
El envío "Prioritario" son certificados con código de seguimiento. Solamente aplicable a España peninsular.
Los pedidos que superen los 2 Kgs. (4,4 LB) de peso, tendrán un cargo adicional en el precio de envío el cual comunicaremos al cliente.
