Yellow cloth covers exhibit light wear and soiling on bottom edges and spine ends. Remainder mark on bottom page ends. Red moisture stains to inside front cover and ffep. Staining to top corners and front edge of front cover. Illustrated with b&w photos. Text is clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. DJ is in a protective mylar cover with large moisture stain and rippling on front cover. Small tears and chips on spine ends. Moderate shelf wear and soiling to covers, hinges and front edges. Moisture stain on inside flap of front cover. "Examines the content and character of the Progressive movement in California with a portrait of its most representative figure Governor Hiram Johnson."
