Children's story about a magical summer between a brother & sister & two swallowtail butterflies, told in "poetic text" with lovely watercolor illustrations by Adrienne Adams. Unpaginated. Orig. published in 1964, this is a slightly later (12/65) printing of that FIRST EDITION. Hardcover small quarto (8" x 10.5") has brightly colored cloth-covered boards with an image matched on the accompanying DJ. An EX-LIB copy, with usual stamps & markings & card pocket, condition is nonetheless VG: quite clean & bright, binding strong & straight, pages lightly tanned but unmarked. The price-clipped DJ is Near Fine, having been protected under old library mylar; this has been carefully removed & replaced with brand new! Only DJ flaw is very minor wear to head of spine & old paper library call number to lower spine. Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping on all orders received Weekdays by 2 pm Pacific time; later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.…
