Nice copy. Presents well, very little wear. Nice DJ now in protective sleeve (see pictures). UK only, this is a very heavy book. All our books at the moment are reduced so the price you see reflects a 33% discount. You may be interested in The Literaticus Book Service. We specialise in tracking down those harder to find editions, among other bookish services such as gift fulfilment. Get in touch to send us your Book Wants or ask a bookish question. If this is intended as a gift, please email first and I can gift wrap for no extra charge. If you would like special delivery but don't see an option for it, just email first and I'll obtain a quote. If you have any questions, require more information or if you would like more pictures, do not hesitate to get in touch. This is heavy (over 2kg) so probably best if it stays in the UK. Courier would probably be cheapest and cost around £6. I can send an invoice for the adjustment after purchase and after I know how you would like them to be shipped.…

Review
"There have been two Scottish works that deserve distinction. One is David King's 'Complete Works of Robert and James Adam' which should be on everyone's shelf."
John Harris, former curator of the RIBA drawings collection
"The author has produced one of those books which is erudite without being pretentious, well informed without being boring; in fact the sort of book that any lover of eighteenth century architecture would relish on his desert island."
Dan Cruickshank, Architects Journal
"King and his publishers have done a grand job...this is a most useful and handsome volume and should be owned by all those interested in the architecture of the second half of the eighteenth century."
James Stevens Curl, Literary Review
