A Practical Guide to Cross-Platform Development, Clean Architecture, and High-Performance Mobile Applications
What if building a cross-platform application meant more than simply getting it to run?
Modern applications must remain responsive, maintainable, reliable, and usable when networks fail, data grows, devices differ, and requirements change. Building Production-Ready Apps with .NET MAUI 10 takes a practical approach to solving those challenges by building a complete TaskFlow application from its foundation to deployment.
Rather than focusing on isolated features, this book shows you how the pieces of a real application fit together. You will work through .NET MAUI 10, responsive UI design, MVVM, navigation, dependency injection, local storage, APIs, offline-first design, platform-specific functionality, performance optimization, testing, and deployment.
As you progress, you will learn how to:
- Set up and structure a reliable .NET MAUI 10 development environment
- Build maintainable applications using MVVM and dependency injection
- Design responsive interfaces that perform well across devices
- Implement scalable Shell navigation and multi-screen workflows
- Store application data locally with SQLite
- Design applications that continue working when connectivity is unreliable
- Build structured API communication and synchronization layers
- Use MAUI handlers for platform-specific customization
- Work with device capabilities such as storage, sensors, and notifications
- Improve startup time, memory usage, UI rendering, and data loading
- Debug real-world problems systematically
- Test applications for stability and confidence
- Package, sign, and prepare applications for production deployment
The TaskFlow project provides a consistent practical context throughout the book, allowing you to see how architectural decisions made early in development affect performance, maintainability, testing, and deployment later.
Whether you are a software engineer, mobile app developer, frontend developer, Xamarin developer, or .NET developer moving toward modern cross-platform development, this book focuses on the decisions and implementation patterns that matter when an application needs to grow beyond a prototype.
Are you ready to build .NET MAUI applications that are designed not just to run, but to ship and keep working? Start building TaskFlow with .NET MAUI 10 today.
