1909. New Illustrated Edition. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Vol. VI Section II. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pagination has continued from previous volumes. Contains pages 519-1059. Contains black and white photographs & illustrations throughout. Pages are bright with moderate tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Water staining to front hhinge, with former owner's inscription to free endpaper. Visible thumb-marking present throughout. Minor dog-eared corners, with a few small nicks, rub marks and liquid drops along text block edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Boards are notably bowed.
