and IMPACT YOUR BOTTOM LINE.
Imagine what our world would be like if all employees of all businesses were given the permission to care about not just their job but also their fellow employees, their customers, and the cause they are most passionate about in life. What would it be like if all people got the chance to make positive changes in the world around them on a daily basis while they did their job? Or, to put that another way, what would happen if people were given the chance to bring their soul to work with them? That’s the journey Scott Moorehead and Ryan McCarty embarked on when they created a movement inside their company they called a “Culture of Good.” In their debut book, Moorehead, the CEO of a thriving telecommunications business, and McCarty, a pastor, speaker, and nonprofit founder, share how, despite their different backgrounds, they came together in pursuit of a common goal—to help their company find the “sweet spot” that connects employees, customers, and a cause. Moorehead and McCarty also share very personal stories about how their own backgrounds and histories shaped their journey and how their passion is to inspire every other company out there to seek out its soul by building a Culture of Good of its own.
“The premise was simple enough: find something that you, your organization, and your customers can support, and use it to transform your culture. But the impact of such a simple idea can be profound, transcending just the culture of an organization and creating a movement. Scott Moorehead and Ryan McCarty are open and honest about the ups and downs of their mission, providing a checklist for anyone wanting to create a “culture of good” within his or her own organization or community.” —KEITH FERRAZZI, author of the no. 1 New York Times best-seller Who’s Got Your Back and Never Eat Alone
