Buffett & Munger's Investment Wisdom: Timeless Principles for the AI Age
The greatest wealth-creating event of our lifetime is here — and so is the greatest wealth-destroying one. Every day, smart people lose fortunes in AI stocks. Not because they're stupid. Because the human brain is wired to buy the hype and sell the panic.
Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger built the Miracle of Omaha — turning $10,000 into $550 million — using no algorithms, no insider tips, no crystal balls. Just timeless principles, applied with brutal discipline for sixty years.
This book hands you those principles — and shows you exactly how to deploy them in the AI age.
What you'll learn:
The Economic Moat — The five real moats that protect businesses, and how to spot them in Nvidia, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Apple. Learn why a moat that depends on three PhDs is not a moat at all — and how to tell a deepening advantage from a dying one.
The Margin of Safety — How Buffett bought Washington Post for 20 cents on the dollar, bet 40% of his partnership on American Express during a scandal, and walked away wealthy. Master the formula that separates real investments from expensive bets — and apply it to today's 30x, 100x, and 320x AI valuations.
The Circle of Competence — Why Buffett ignored Google and Amazon for decades — and what made him finally buy Alphabet at 95. Learn the discipline that keeps you from betting what you don't understand, and how to expand your circle honestly.
Then walk through the case studies:
Apple — The $35 billion bet that became $120 billion in profit. The three moats — ecosystem lock-in, brand premium, services flywheel — and why Buffett's greatest investment was actually a consumer bet.
Nvidia — The anatomy of a modern moat: CUDA's 6 million developers, the 75% gross margin, the 2022 crash that made contrarians rich — and the three risks that could break it all.
The Magnificent Seven — What Buffett actually did with each titan: bought Apple, finally bought Alphabet, passed on Nvidia and Tesla — and why the price you pay matters more than the story you love.
Then build your playbook:
How to construct a concentrated, principled AI portfolio. The five cognitive biases that make smart people lose money — and Munger's antidotes Your personal Investment Contract — seven articles that keep you rational when the market screams. The compounding table that shows why patience beats brilliance
No stock tips. No get-rich schemes. No hype.
Just the mental models that have survived every mania in history — tulips, railroads, dot-com, crypto — and will survive this one.
The technology will change. The principles will not.
Buffett & Munger's Investment Wisdom — the data-driven guide to applying value investing to artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and the AI value chain.
