The book comprises two lectures on esthetic theory and theory of literature attributed to original buddhism. In the first lecture, the author has analyzed the concept of dukkha and used it as the most important esthetic value according to buddhism. In the second lecture, the author has analyzed the unique power of literature and linked it to the moral truth. The author argues that according to buddhism, literature has the potential to lead people to moral beauty which is the same as liberation of the mind in the view of the buddha.
This book provides you with a clear insight into the tradition of buddhism that has been in existence for centuries. In it you shall:
• Get a very clear understanding of buddhism
• Know its history and origin
• Find out and get insight on the many teachings, traditions and practices observed by the buddhists
• Best of all, you will get to find out exactly how you can adopt these buddhist practices in your life and the benefits that you will reap from each of them.
Attaining enlightenment is a mind that has attained peace, calm, serenity, and contentedness with joy that is permanent. The mind can be trained to completely eliminate such discontent feelings as sadness, anger, frustration, irritation, annoyance, guilt, shame, fears, loneliness, boredom, shyness, jealousy, and all other negative feelings that cause the mind to be discontent and experience suffering.
