Does your child feel nervous around dogs?
Brooke understands exactly how that feels. Brooke doesn’t want fear to steal her joy, but that’s exactly what happens whenever she sees a dog. In everyday fun moments, fear shows up and tries to spoil the things she loves. Can Brooke find the courage to face dogs instead of running away?
Brooke Is Afraid of Dogs is a heartwarming early chapter book that shows children that fear doesn’t have to win. Through inspiring storytelling and relatable situations, kids will see how worry often comes from the untrue thoughts we believe. This encouraging story helps children move past those fears and discover confidence and courage.
Inside this book, children will discover:
• A relatable story for kids who feel afraid of dogs or other animals
• Short, easy-to-read chapters with soft black-and-white illustrations
• Encouraging themes of courage, confidence, and friendship
• A perfect bridge between picture books and full chapter books
Parents and teachers love this series because it:
• Supports kids ages 6–10 who may struggle with fear or anxiety
• Encourages social-emotional learning in a gentle, story-based way
• Opens the door for conversations about bravery, friendship, and confidence
Brooke’s story reminds kids everywhere: Fear may come, but it doesn’t get to stay.
If your child is afraid of dogs, or facing any fear, they’ll feel understood and encouraged by Brooke’s journey.
